Carpe Iter Caretta
GPS
A purpose-built 7-inch Android navigator from the Czech maker Carpe Iter, sold as a kit with a vibration-damped locking cradle, AMPS base and fused power lead. Because it runs Android 14 with the Play Store, any nav app works, and it ships with Carpe Iter's own NGH software and free offline world maps. Its 2,200-nit, 1920 x 1200 screen is the sharpest in this group, but its cellular radio is built for Europe, so in the US treat it as Wi-Fi only.
