Tail and dry bag
A two-layer duffle: an abrasion-resistant ballistic nylon outer over a welded-seam waterproof dry bag, rolled at both ends so it opens without unstrapping. It has a beavertail for a jacket and backpack straps, and suits long trips where the bag takes abuse.
